They work hard every single day to keep our classrooms clean, our hallways safe, and our school looking its best. Their dedication behind the scenes makes a huge difference for our students, staff, and community — and we couldn’t do it without them! 💪❤️
Our 5th grade class helped us celebrate by making a special card for each of our custodians. Even though we only got a picture below with Mrs. Jamie, we are so thankful for Richard and Martin too!

We are proud to announce the arrival of our first brand-new bus since moving to a district-owned fleet in 2017! 🎉
A huge thank you goes out to the North Mercer Board of Education, Wade Hall, Rick Kreutz, Midwest Bus Sales, and our tax-paying citizens for making this possible. Student safety is always our top priority, and with Thomas’ reputation for safety, service, and reliability, staying with diesel power was an easy choice.
Transportation Director Kerri Jincks had the honor of handing the keys of the new 2026 Thomas C-2 to one of our outstanding professional drivers, Max Siemer, who will be driving it on Route #3. 🚦
👏 We’re grateful for our Transportation Department, our professional drivers, and the continued support of our school community. This new bus represents another step forward in keeping our students safe every day!

Parents, please remember that there is no adult supervision before 7:45 am each day, unless your child is enrolled in the Before School Program.
👉 Students in the Before School Program should be dropped off at the back of the building and head to the gym.
👉 If your child is not in the program, please do not drop them off before 7:45 am.

They’ve been learning all about pumpkins, and with the help of Mrs. Bain’s Art class, they even created a giant pumpkin for their classroom! 🍂
In Art, students have also been painting their elephants 🐘🎨, showing off their creativity in such fun ways. And to top it off, they took their math learning outdoors—practicing facts with a little game of trash basketball! 🏀➕➖
We love seeing our First Graders learning, creating, and having fun every step of the way! 💡❤️
